Phyllomedusa oreades
Also known as a Monkey frog, Phyllomedusa oreades is a species of frog in the Hylidae family. It is endemic to Brazil. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical dry lowland grassland. A very beautiful frog from the Cerrado, Brazil. I love that one.

This is such a beautiful frog! I don`t know much about frogs, but I do know that sometimes bright colors are used to warn other organisms. Brightly colored creatures are often times poisonous, so I was curious if this one was poisonous or not.
