Description:

Very large and showy butterfly that can be seen from quite a distance. Bright yellow body with black markings. There also a black form of this species.

Habitat:

This individual was in a city park utilizing the butterfly bushes for food.

Notes:

Beautiful butterfly that will allow close-up pictures.
