Nectocarcinus integrifrons
A two-toned crab with purple at the front and pale sand colour at the rear half. Carapace is about 60mm across. Three notches behind eyes. Rough to touch.
This one was on the local beach.
Recently dead with some rear legs missing but otherwise still retained good details like eyes and antennae.
