Spotted in an upland forest in north GA. The range of this species extends from the Pacific coast to the Atlantic coast of North America
The second pic is actually a different spotting, but I wanted to add it to show what the belly of this snake looks like.

great spotting! I love the iridescence on the second photo....i also thought i was a lot larger till I saw it on the second photo:)
