Leafhopper nymph

Tartessus ferrugineus

Description:

This is a nymph of a Cicadellid Leafhopper. I originally thought that it belonged to the Genus Krisna which is fairly common in our area, but arne.roysland identified it, for me, as Tartessus ferrugineus. Thanks, Arne.

Habitat:

Spotted in the farm on Tropical Whiteweed (Ageratum conyzoides Linn.) known in the Philippines by various names in many dialects. In our local dialect, this plant is called Salunay. Plant information - http://stuartxchange.com/Bulak.html

Hi Arne, thanks for your help on this one. Your help is much appreciated, once again. As you can see, from my notes, I might have been able to ID this one better if it were an adult, but the nymphs are a little more difficult.
