@ Emma. Yes, except that these are much smaller than most sparrows, and are rarely seen on the ground like sparrows and have a totally different body language and foraging style. I love to watch them have breakfast at the feeder while I am having mine! So they do have some similar coloration patterns but the "jizz" is totally different:)

Wow! nice pic. Chickadees are not all that easy to get into a frame ... lots a blurrrss:) i'm impressed with the Chestnut-backed, i have the Black-caps myself at the feeder year round.

could be easily confused with some species of sparrows!!
