Southern green shield bug (3rd instar)

Description:

The third instar of the southern green stink bug is black with rows of white spots. This is the first time if spotted this species in Washington State. Believed to have originated in Ethiopia, it can now be found around the world.

Habitat:

Spotted on a grape plant in my backyard.
