Forage looper moth & moth flies

Caenurgina erechtea / psycodidae

Notes:

I was surprised to see this guy after the freezing temperatures we have had the last few nights but I didn't notice the two tiny moth flies until I downloaded the photo!

There are a few still around here too but noticeably fewer now. I'm really looking forward to the spring - especially to seeing the polyphemus moth emerge from the cocoon I have brought in over winter!

Some moths do not seem to be hampered by bad weather and cold and I also track someone in France during the coldest periods.
