Eastern Water Skink

Description:

This is much smaller than the specimen normally found here so is probably a juvenile or young lizard

Habitat:

These lizrds are found living in my apartment beneath the water heating unit in winter and working their way out into the gardens in summer. I feed mine during tough times or when they ask. This one was hunting at night and during cold spell and rain storm. It must have been hungry as that is unusual behaviour

Notes:

This little guy has probably broken free of it's egg during the exceptional hot weather recently. The number of bugs dropped off as the weather cooled again and it looks to be suffering hunger. It was re-positioned nearer to sources of food
