Black-capped chickadee

Description:

A small, gregarious member of the tit family. A common backyard feeder bird that can also be found and heard in deciduous forests, open parks, and suburban neighborhoods. Often heard by its namesake call, these birds are bold near humans and can sometimes be fed out of hand.
