A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife

Snowy owls migrate in this area every year. This year they returned in huge numbers not seen in Boundary Bay since 2006. about 5 years ago. Bird watchers and the general public view and observe them in huge numbers also especially on weekends around the dykes.
Low lying marshlands or tundra where they hunt for rodents. lemmings. other waterfowl like ducks and birds. and maybe even fish.

Wow! So beautiful!!
Beautiful series! They are migrating unusually South this year. We are hoping we may see them in Colorado soon! ...but that may just be wishful thinking!

Lovely Series!
Soo beautiful creature...and nice pics.
Nice series,
You will need to join a mission (or more), the Best Wildlife link is here:
http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/5047...
Once you have joined the missions you can then "edit" your photo entry and assign up to 5 mission per spotting on the drop-down on the right-hand side of the site.
The birds mission is:

thanks a lot Apple...how do i do that?
Beautiful series! I just love owls, they are so regal. These are fabulous photos and you should consider adding them to both the birds of the world and the Best Wildlife 2011 missions.
