In a garden on Bonesset flowers, the species is also prominent in a nearvby goldenrod field, restored from a mowed yard lawn! A VERY CONSIDERABLE population of honeybees has established itself on our land since we stopped mowing for a "monoculture lawn" and restored a meadow.
