Muscicapa striata
This is a small (sparrow size) slim and fast bird, with rather non-descriptive features. Adults have grey-brown upperparts and whitish underparts, with a streaked crown and breast. The bill is black and has the broad but pointed shape typical of aerial insectivores.
This is a common migratory Palearctic species, breeding in Europe (and Western Asia) and wintering in Africa (and south-western Asia). Here seen on edges of mixed forest, bordering with mountain pastures.
