Leaf Hopper

Description:

This leaf hopper is one of the larger I have seen in this area. It measures about 1/4" long and was clearly visible to the naked eye. I took the shot at night and this creature was attracted to the light of a lamp post.

Habitat:

Tropical dry forest of NW Costa Rica 9 weeks into the 6 month dry season.
