Noctilio albiventris
This specimen was caught in an edge of a river, on an island in the middle of the river that across my city, a region of transiiton between the Cerrado and Atlantic Forest.
Some friends of mine, and I, are doing some researches of bats, then we decide teach a course about Neotropical Chiropteran in my city. The "Noctilio albiventris" have a insectivorous diet, but, the biggest ones can feed of little fishes (how the most representants of the genre "Noctilio sp." do). This genre, in particular, produces a impermeable substance to their hair, that gives a singular smell to the bats. This specimen its a pregnant female.
