Description:

This small, sparrow-sized bird has lots of white in its plumage above and white below. It is brown and on the back with a white face with patches of brown.

Habitat:

We find these high-Arctic breeders in Minnesota primarily in winter along stretches roads running through wide-open stretches of countryside.
