Crab eating a fish (pic2)

Description:

A violent splash revealed this crab attacking an equally large fish in a rock pool. The crab released it after my close attention and the fish was still unharmed. I released them both into the same tiny pool.

Habitat:

Rock pool in a marine wildlife sanctuary in Port Phillip Bay.

Actually my sympathy was for the crab who won its dinner fair and square but lost it when I interfered =( I gave it another chance to recover its meal. What do you do?
