Band-winged Grasshopper

Description:

Loads of these grasshoppers about in our wadis and along the coast. About 5 cm in length. Would love to be able to ID so any help is much appreciated.

Habitat:

spotted near the shore along the Gulf of Aqaba coast in Nabq Protected Area.

Notes:

Family: Acrididae Subfamily: Oedipodinae Maybe Genus: Sphingonotus ?
