Crambid Moth

Parotis marginata

Description:

Small moth, estimated wingspan 3cm. Pale green body, green wings with brown edges and an orange stripe along the front edge of the forewing, pointed reddish-coloured snout, long antennae, white legs with orange stripes.

Notes:

Seen in Queens Gardens in Townsville. Thanks to NuwanChathuranga, bayucca and Christiane for help with the ID.

Crambidae, Pyraustinae, Spilomelini, Parotis marginata.
