It was a land turtle definitely not a red ear slider. They have flat shells this had a sloping shell that tortoises have. I guess it not a eastern box.
Or maybe it just ate a mouse or large insect.
Interesting I can't recall seeing a toad with a stripe on it before.

Not my pic but shows the huge size they can grow to. I learned something new as well. I didn't know they were the largest tree-fruit there is.
wow never knew cocoons could look like that. I thought they all tended to blend in not stand out.

Yes you are right. I'm a bit too north for the range of the brown anole. It looked like it had more of the markings of the brown at first. Thanks for the correction
