It was a land turtle definitely not a red ear slider. They have flat shells this had a sloping shell that tortoises have. I guess it not a eastern box.

Interesting I can't recall seeing a toad with a stripe on it before.

Not my pic but shows the huge size they can grow to. I learned something new as well. I didn't know they were the largest tree-fruit there is.

Something else of note the individual fruit can weigh almost 80 pounds. The largest ones in the picture were probably a foot long.

Yes they're used in a number of wayes. I like the jackfruit chips which is the fruit when dried. Taste is hard to describe I'd say it tastes closest to bland apple when raw. Texture is almost like meat which is different.

Yes you are right. I'm a bit too north for the range of the brown anole. It looked like it had more of the markings of the brown at first. Thanks for the correction
