My first guess, would be probably (battered up southern flannel moth caterpillar).

Nice spotting arne.roysland. This is the lackey moth, just a fully worn out specimen. The colors don't show that well.
Are there any durian trees nearby? only reason I ask is that this moth feeds on durian.
