Description:

This delicate moth was continually flitting through the grasses trying to escape my camera. About 30mm long.

Habitat:

In long grasses and Goodenia plants in Ferny Creek nature reserve.

Notes:

This is the grey form (female) but they can be golden, brown, tan and almost black. Larvae feed on Hibbertis species (Guinea-flower) a clambering ground cover. Golden form found here http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/694...
