A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Hirundo rustica
4 juveniles being fed at the nest, the last day in the nest for some of them as one was perched by our swimming pool early the next morning and three were out by lunchtime. The fourth was obviously weaker and spent a few more days in the nest while the others spent their nights on the wet weather washing line under the pool terrace while waiting for it. Obviously a close-knit family!

Great spotting ! I love their wide white-lined mouths.
