White Tubercled Crayfish

Description:

Large crayfish, 7.5 cm (=3 in) long. Orange spots on its tail.

Habitat:

Sandy riverbed, in a still, shaded pool. Ben Burton Park.

Notes:

One of the children at the park named it for me: "Brad." Brad the Crayfish.
