Conifer Tuft mushroom

Hypholoma capnoides

Description:

Even though I'm not sure, this looks like Hypholoma capnoides, a.k.a. Naematoloma capnoides. This mushroom grows in dense clusters on logs in forest. Yellow-brown cap with grey gills.

Habitat:

Mixed forest of Jura mountain range; found on a dead log well covered by mosses.

Notes:

If my ID is correct, this is an edible mushroom; but with no particular value: some reports say that it has neither odor nor distinctive taste.
