Females/imm males have yellowish markings on thorax.
The species occurs from New Jersey southward to Florida then west to far east Texas. This one was observed at the Aiken Gopher Tortoise Heritage Preserve near Windsor (Aiken County), SC.
Faded pennant is another common name.
