Geometrid Moth

Corymica sp

Description:

Yellow. Looks like a sufi dancer with arms stretched upwards. Has two eye-like patterns on the junction of fore wing with body. These "eyes"look like the typical human eyes kids draw.

Habitat:

On the outside wall of the cottage we stayed in. Neora Valley Jungle Camp. About 3 hours drive from the coordinates shown. Remote hilly forested area. Himalayan foothills.

Notes:

I spotted another moth which is almost identical...just lacks the "eyes" http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/926...
