White spotted longicorn

Ancita varicornis

Description:

A small longicorn (about 12mm body length) exploring colourful grass seed heads. These grasses were attended by a common spotted weevil a couple of weeks ago which looked strikingly similar in pattern and size to this cerambycid.

Habitat:

In a local hilltop nature reserve. Ferny Creek.

Notes:
