Common Froglet

Crinia signifera

Description:

A small frog (about 3cm) with intricate markings all over its body and a lighter belly, mostly shades of grey, cream and some tiny almost indistinct red dots amongst the patterning, call is a sharp click sound.

Habitat:

Found throughout south east Australia especially close to shallow water. This one rescued with about 10 of his friends from a backyard swimming pool before being dragged into the filter system.
