Muscid fly

Pygophora spp

Description:

About 6mm long this little fly had one red eye and one green :-) Thorax and abdomen was very pale cream-grey with a few dark hairs. Abdomen was rounded and shortish. Legs tan.

Habitat:

Hiding in grasses in outer suburban back yard.
