Description:

Medium size plover with a distinctive black and white plumage. Black bill and legs. A flock of about 10 birds. Migrators that I rarely see.

Habitat:

Spotted at the Dungeness National Wildlife Refuge.

Beautiful photos, Brian. Lovely plumage on these birds. Some with a black mask, whilst others not. Male and female, perhaps? I'll check out the link.
