Texas Gray Moth

Glenoides texanaria

Description:

Found at front door. The moth blended in so well with the paint of the house, I almost missed it.

Habitat:

Couldn't find a lot of information about them. I did find pictures but that's about it. I 'think' they are common from June through October and they seem to be mostly in the southeastern part of the US. http://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.ed... does show spottings around the southern part of Texas.

Notes:

Thank you wijnandr93. I went to http://www.butterfliesandmoths.org/speci... and saw there were no spottings in Texas. That's odd, isn't it? Then I went to http://mothphotographersgroup.msstate.ed... where I saw some spottings.
