Description:

Long paper nest of two cells width at widest points, with several social brown wasps in attendance, these wasps feed on nectar but also hunt caterpillars to feed their own larvae.

Habitat:

Found in many areas of Australia. Nest was hung from low branches of shrub in dry woodland.
