Warm-chevroned Moth

Tortricidia testacea

Description:

A small moth with yellow-brown forewings and tan-white hindwings. The forewings are mostly unmarked and have slightly darker veins. Tortricid moths often rest with their abdomen sticking up in the air.

Habitat:

I spotted this moth underneath a leaf in a backyard garden in a semi-rural area. I went to check on it a few hours later, but it was gone.
