Description:

The edible seeds, with a flavor reminiscent of pistachios, may be eaten raw or cooked. Also a sweet cooking oil can be extracted from them. An infusion of the bark has been used for a wash on sore faces. Additionally, the dense root system can be valuable in erosion control.
