Well, one is a reptile and the other is an amphibian. And there are plenty of examples of animals that coexist with each other, sometimes on symbiotic levels. and the Academy of Science paired these two together because it happens on a frequent basis in the rainforests of, I think it was, Peru.
well not much to tell really. they live in a nice little environment together. everyone was captivated by the snake creeping down closer... and closer... and closer to the ginormous toad... and then.... nothing. like they just started hanging out or something :)
i bet that toad is thinking... blend in...think tree like :) I like this shot, you can even see the snakes tongue flickering. Great capture!
