Description:

The eastern phoebe is a sparrow-sized bird. Gray bird with dark wings. Light olive green belly. Thin dark bill. No white eye ring. It sits on a branch waiting for a passing insect, flies out to catch it, then returns to the same branch.

Habitat:

This eastern phoebe was spotted in the Pearl River Wildlife Management Area, Pearl Harbor, Louisana.
