Eastern Fence Lizard

Sceloporus undulatus

Description:

Cute little fellow I found hiding under a log. Rough scales, bright turquoise blue "chin strap" and 2 on the sides of his belly. Top side was various shades of mostly grays.

Habitat:

Longleaf Pine Sand hills. Under a badly-decaying log.

Notes:

He did NOT appreciate me holding him, and I let him go before I got all the pics I wanted. He was so stressed.
