Description:

Off-white colored mushrooms. The smallest (not the shelf fungi) had caps the size of a pinky nail.

Habitat:

The mushrooms were growing in a shady forest, on a decaying log.

This is 100% not Paneolus, I think its a Coprinellus in sect. Setulosi, maybe close to C. disseminatus.

Thanks for your help, Patty! I'll create another spotting now. I thought they looked too different to be the same fungus, but since they were so close to each other, I wasn't totally sure. :)

Great spotting Kunzah! However, you have two spottings in one, that is to say, there are two types of different fungi here. Therefore, you can delete the last three pictures which correspond to a different kind of fungi and leave the first two. Then, with those three you have deleted, you may create even ANOTHER spotting =) . +
