Each about 18mm long. Narrow wing cases with lines of contrasting reddish brown, black and gold colours and small pits. Beaded antennae with 11? segments. Multi segmented tarsi.

These are stretched out Chrysomelids (Leaf Beetles) that specialise in Ghania sp. grasses (also called Sword grasses) A very different shape to most of our other Chrysomelid finds. Good job, Stephen! Now knowing Hispinae, I remember the typical texture. And I was several times in the stream of Tony, but obviously missed this one all the time ;-)...
Reminds me somehow of an Elateridae, but I am not sure and I did not find a reasonable match. Just a hint?
