Moth caterpillar

Description:

Caterpillar spotted on citrus tree. It's coloration (black, yellow and white) provides an effective camouflage as it resembles bird droppings and for defense, it's body is covered with deadly array of spikes, toxic. It changes position about 3 - 4,5 times within 24hrs, and often spotted stationary.

Moth caterpillar (possibly in the family Lasiocampidae) – P. demodocus looks TOTALLY different . . .
