Pink-bellied Moth

Oenochroma vinaria

Description:

5-6cm brown dried-leaf mimic moth with small spots on forward edge of wings, small pointy snout and pink abdomen, with large black eyes and thin unfrilled feelers, and light brown mid-leaf vein-like band going from pointed dark wingtip to wingtip.

Habitat:

Subtropical dry sclerophyll open forest and scrub, my bedroom and around suburban lights.

Notes:

Very pretty leaf mimic moth or butterfly.
