Description:

green to yellow; plant lax to robust; capitulum stellate; stem pale green-brown; stem leaves triangular to lingulate-triangular, 0.8-1.3mm, hyaline cells efibrillose and rarely septate; divergent branches often straight; branch leaves weakly 5-ranked; branch leaves ocate to narrowly ovate-lanceolate, sharply re-curved when dry. branch leaves in cross-section revealing chlorophyllous cells on convex leaf surface.

Habitat:

Sphagnum bog. within a shaded hemlock portion of a bog.

Notes:

This individual took me several months of work to finally find out the species.
