Pelopidas agna agna
IDd before as Pelopidas mathias mathias. Pelopidas agna (Moore, 1865) (Hesperiidae; Hesperiinae; Baorini) is a member of the Grass Skippers or Banded Skippers subfamily. It is known as the Obscure Branded Swift, Dark Branded Swift, Common Swift, and Little Branded Swift. Pelopidas agna agna (Moore, 1866) is the ssp occurring in the Philippines. Recorded hostplants: Grasses with fairly broad leaves, including Brachiaria mutica, Capillipedium parviflorum, Ischaemum indicum, Microstgium ciliatum, Paspalum conjugatum and P. paniculatum (Gramineae).
Spotted in the backyard, in Biñan Laguna, Philippines.
