Macropus rufogriseus
Medium sized wallaby, a macropod, marsupial native to eastern regions of Australia. A grass, herb and shrub eater. reddish brown fur on neck and rump, grey fur and white belly, black nose fur, paws and ear edges, white face stripe. An update on the old wallaby male from previous spotting - he has gained strength again but still not as agile as should be - he has found a female friend and they are getting on well. She has a tail completely bent in a hook shape, and he has badly mangled ears.
Eastern regions of Australia, these ones in dry woodland.
Female can just be seen in left of photo with crooked tail.
