Cacatua galerita
White plumage with a yellow crest, also yellow hints in tail and wings. Dark eye, legs and beak. Loud shrieking calls and bold behaviour. Not shy.
Very common along the east, north and southeast coast of Australia, including Tasmania. These were found in the misty morning trail between 3 Sisters and the Grand Staircase, Blue Mtns, Katoomba, NSW.

Thanks kd. Great birding there.
Love these images too. It's a great place - the Blue Mountains region.
