Garudinia simulana
Tiny moth. Beige in color with dark brown markings. Body length is about 10mm.
Lean, this could also be Garudinia bimaculata. The reference in the suggestion box is from Taiwan, but according to this link, the ID G. simulana has been corrected as G. bimaculata -

However, Borneo also lists a couple more similarly-looking Garudinia spp.. and I could not find any of them listing Philippines in its distribution :( - http://www.mothsofborneo.com/part-7/plat....
Oh, the picture is clear enough! Rain is an explanation. Usually you might see some parts besides the wings anyway, even in nocturnal moths. Thanks for the link, Jolly. And I was studying other butterflies from Costa Rica, that's the reason why I was soooo late with my comment...
Excellent job, Nuwan!
I believe this is a nocturnal moth. They withdraw or hide their heads including the antennae and legs during daytime. A n example is a spotting I have. The first 3 pictures were taken at night and the last 3 frames taken at daytime. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/150...
Yes bayucca it's a moth. It was overcast with little rain and I could not take a clear photo of the moth.
Really a moth? Can't see any part of the head, antennae and no legs, which is confusing. However, in micromoths there might be some surprises. But I suggest that you look a little bit outside of moths. Planthopper? Not a cockroach, in Derbidae you usually see some other body parts besides this shield as well. Definitely a very shy guy ;-)...
