Wattle Longhorn (Longicorn)

Bethelium signiferum

Description:

This very small longicorn was only 10 mm long. The pattern on the elytra was a pale "x" shape.

Habitat:

Spotted under bright lights near native trees.

Notes:

From the common name "Wattle Longhorn", I assume this little beetle attacks wattle. Not able to find much information on this species. http://www.ces.csiro.au/aicn/system/c_59... Family: Cerambycidae
