Alcelaphus buselaphus cokii
Large antelope with sloping appearance - i.e slightly higher in forequarters than in rear. Uniformly yellow fawn coat, slightly paler in hindquarters, with whitish rump and underside. Long and narrow face with small pointed ears and sickle-shaped horns.
Observed in large numbers in Nairobi NP, savanna and close to water points. This subspecies of hartebeest is confined to Kenya and Tanzania.
