Yeah around here(Northeast, North America) you can find these out in the wild and tend to grow shrub-like, creeping across the ground much like juniperus comminus which is also wild. In peoples gardens you can train them to grow into small trees. Out west and in other parts of the world however i believe there are ones that grow much more like trees.

Hi Dane, Beautiful spotting. Are Canadian yew trees generally small and shrub like ?. I was curious because I thought yews were huge trees
